The tsukemen finish

スープ割り

Some tsukemen shops offer broth to dilute the dipping soup at the end. This is a finishing step, not a second bowl of noodles.

What to notice

Availability, price and method are shop-specific. Ask rather than reaching for an unfamiliar communal pot.

Try it with your next bowl

When offered, compare a little diluted soup with your earlier impression of the concentrated dip.
